Sean De Simone earned his Bachelors Degree in Communications and Media from The Pennsylvania University.  After many PA jobs on independent films in Philadelphia, Sean settled in New York City and began working in film and television production. In the early years of his career Sean worked as an assistant to Producers and Production Managers on numerous television commercials, as well as working in film development.  Sean used his film festival and theatrical distribution skills to market his own self directed and produced short films, premiering at numerous film festivals nationally and internationally.

Sean began his path in casting as the assistant on projects for such networks as Bravo, WE, AMC, E!, ABC Family, Spike, INHD, CNBC, PBS, Nickelodeon, The WB, and the Style Network.  Soon after landing a full time position in in-house casting at a major New York Production company he launched his own business: Sean De Simone Casting.

Sean established strong relationships with clients in both New York and Los Angeles casting for TLC, The Food Network,  Soapnet, Sundance, Fine Living, Lifetime, Fuse, G4, HGTV, Discovery, History, Animal Planet,  Tru TV, QVC and the Bio Channel. 

Sean De Simone Casting is involved in development, casting projects from early stages of concepts, growth through to the sizzle reel, and casting tape phase.  Sean De Simone Casting specializes in helping clients with talent development and mentors clients to conceive television projects based around their personalities and skills to properly pitch to producers and networks. Sean also teaches Television Hosting classes, produces Hosting Reels, and is available for individual coaching.
